From HHS:

Today, Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price, M.D., named Brenda Fitzgerald, M.D., as the 17th Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR).

“Today, I am extremely proud and excited to announce Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald as the new Director of the CDC,” said Secretary Price. “Having known Dr. Fitzgerald for many years, I know that she has a deep appreciation and understanding of medicine, public health, policy and leadership—all qualities that will prove vital as she leads the CDC in its work to protect America’s health 24/7. We look forward to working with Dr. Fitzgerald to achieve President Trump’s goal of strengthening public health surveillance and ensuring global health security at home and abroad. Congratulations to Dr. Fitzgerald and her family.”

Dr. Fitzgerald has been the commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and state health officer for the past six years. She replaces Dr. Anne Schuchat, who has been the acting CDC director and acting ATSDR administrator since January 20. Dr. Schuchat is returning to her role as CDC’s principal deputy director.

“Additionally, I’d like to extend my deep appreciation and thanks to Dr. Anne Schuchat for her exemplary service as acting director of the CDC,” said Secretary Price. “We thank Dr. Schuchat and her team for their dedication in our public health efforts to keep Americans safe and for their work to ensure a seamless transition. We look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Schuchat in her role as principal deputy director of CDC.”

Dr. Fitzgerald, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, has practiced medicine for three decades. As Georgia DPH Commissioner, Dr. Fitzgerald oversaw various state public health programs and directed the state’s 18 public health districts and 159 county health departments. Prior to that, Dr. Fitzgerald held numerous leadership positions. She served on the board and as president of the Georgia OB-GYN Society and she worked as a health care policy advisor with House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Senator Paul Coverdell. She has served as a Senior Fellow and Chairman of the Board for the Georgia Public Policy Foundation.

Dr. Fitzgerald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Georgia State University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory University School of Medicine. She completed post-graduate training at the Emory-Grady Hospitals in Atlanta and held an assistant clinical professorship at Emory Medical Center. As a Major in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Fitzgerald served at the Wurtsmith Air Force Strategic Air Command (SAC) Base in Michigan and at the Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, D.C.

This is more than a little disheartening as Dr. Fitzgerald appears to be another insider! Not to mention the fact that she is a trained OB/GYN, and must know and approve of injecting pregnant women with neurotoxins and poisons during pregnancy!

I’m very disappointed. I hope Trump is still will work with vaccine safety advocates as many of us voted for him because he acknowledged he believes in the vaccine autism connection.

  4. Not a surprise–it’s business as usual. If the vaccine house of cards falls, it would bring the entire global oligarchy to its knees. Next we’ll probably have some bogus “investigation” of vaccine safety and efficacy, to apply a solid coat of whitewash.

Vaccine Safety is an oxymoron, there’s no such thing a safe or effective vaccine. And when I first heard the term ‘Vaccine Safety Commission’, I knew we were being conned yet again.

I agree that they will do everything they can, for as long as they can, to keep the vaccine house of cards from falling. Because the parents worldwide finally wake finally up to THIS truth, there will be hell to pay on a scale that the world has never seen .

  5. Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald, Madam, after 64 years of working in electronic, communications, satellites around the world and conducting private cancer research in my spare time. I believe that I have discovered the three molecules that are the main causes of most Cancers, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Hypertension, Diabetes, MS, and other diseases. Question; Do you remember the epidemics of DDT and Agent Orange? These molecules had two benzene or a total of 12 Pi-Bonding Electrons in each molecule. All of these diseases above are caused by the large amounts of herbicide (Glyphosate) Round-up in our children’s cereals and the magnetic flux fields in Benzene with six, Caffeine with ten Pi-Bonding Electrons that create the molecules carcinogenic magnetic flux fields. These magnetic Flux fields can mutate all of your cells ~100 Epidermal Growth Factors Receptors and your ~800 G protein-coupled receptors and at the same time the ~23 different microscopic electrical voltages of your bodies ~100 trillion cells. I know that It’s hard to believe that most of the above diseases are really caused by the magnetics flux fields that can penetrate the membranes of your cells, but it’s true. If you have any questions I have many research reports to share with you and your staff. email me at or call 360-438-3636 anytime. Regards Del.

Looks like you are right Barry :

Trump has made two key appointments in the area of childhood vaccination. The first was Scott Gottlieb, the director of the FDA. What does Gottlieb have to say?
From “…antivaccine activists were disappointed with Trump’s appointment for FDA head, Scott Gottlieb, who has said any theories of a link between vaccines and autism have been ‘thoroughly debunked’.”
Trump’s second key appointment has now been revealed. Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald takes over as the head of the CDC.
Georgia Department of Public Health: “’Immunizations are the best way to protect infants and children from childhood diseases, like whooping cough and measles that can be life-threatening at young ages’,” said Brenda Fitzgerald, M.D., commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Health [before her appointment to lead the CDC]. “It is critical for parents to talk to their child’s doctor to ensure they are up-to-date on immunizations, because no child should have to suffer a vaccine-preventable illness’.”
In 2014, Dr. Fitzgerald wrote an op-ed in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: “I’ve heard all the arguments against vaccination. All have been debunked…”
Is Trump, who has declared he believes there is a link between vaccination and autism, playing a secret game? Is he giving his new appointees enough rope to hang themselves, before he moves in and empowers an independent panel to investigate vaccine-dangers?
We’ll see. However, if other key appointees Trump has moved into important slots in his administration are any indication—with their leaking, their out of school statements, their former employment at Goldman Sachs, their bias in favor of extending American Empire and policing the planet—the whole issue of vaccination could be off the table.
Does Trump want yet another media war, this time over vaccines? If he does, for example, as rumored, tap Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to head up a probe into corruption and fraud at the CDC re childhood vaccination, mainstream news networks will erupt in a new round of furor. Pharmaceutical companies, which pour mighty amounts of advertising dollars into those networks, will demand volcanic attacks against Trump.
For the moment, vaccine makers are relieved to see the president has filled two key posts with defenders of their toxic realm.

I’m so sad that she is appointed. Hopefully this is in Trumps plan of taking down the entire organization and everyone involved will hopefully go to jail.
