Please Extradite Danish Fraud Poul Thorsen to the US, President Trump!

Office of the Inspector General, Department of Health and Human Services

Last year, Autism Investigated’s editor publicly spoke out at the annual AutismOne  conference in favor of renewed efforts to push for extradition of vaccine-autism link “debunker” Poul Thorsen. This year, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is leading the push to do just that:

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and World Mercury Project Issue Report Regarding New Evidence of Ongoing Corruption and Scientific Misconduct at CDC

Kennedy hopes new evidence and a fresh look at criminal misconduct will result in law enforcement action, rigorous and transparent vaccine safety science, and safer vaccines.

In a new report released September 18, 2017, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and his team outlined various criminal acts on the part of employees and consultants for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) whose questionable ethics and scientific fraud have resulted in untrustworthy vaccine safety science.

Among other information, Kennedy has found additional evidence of criminal activity by the CDC consultant, Poul Thorsen, the author and principal coordinator of multiple CDC studies exonerating the mercury-based preservative thimerosal in the development of autism.

The new evidence, recently uncovered World Mercury Project, shows that Thorsen and his collaborators did not obtain permission from an Institutional Review Board (IRB) to conduct their research, which was published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2002 and Pediatrics in 2003. In 2011, The Department of Justice indicted Thorsen on 22 counts of wire fraud and money laundering for stealing over $1 million in CDC grant money earmarked for autism research. The product of Thorsen’s work for CDC was a series of fraud-tainted articles on Danish autism rates that, today, form the backbone of the popular orthodoxy that vaccines don’t cause autism.

In 2009, when CDC discovered that Thorsen never applied for the IRB approvals, staff did not report the errors and retract the studies. Rather, FOIA documents show that CDC supervisors ignored the missteps and covered up the illegal activity.

This misconduct, undermines the legitimacy of these studies, which were used to refute vaccine injury claims in the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP). The studies were also used in the NVICP’s “Omnibus” to dismiss 5000 petitions by families who claimed that their children had developed autism from vaccines. These claims, if settled in the claimants’ favor, would have resulted in payouts totaling an estimated $10 billion.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Chairman, stated, “World Mercury Project calls upon Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, to extradite Thorsen back to the U.S. to face prosecution. We also call upon Secretary of Health and Human Services, Dr. Tom Price, to retract the Thorsen-affiliated autism research papers that are the fruit of illegally conducted research.”

Crooked Hillary – Trump’s Vaccine Safety “Dangerous”

trumpthatbitch

My opponent in this race has consistently discounted scientific findings, from his comments about vaccines to his claim that climate change is a hoax. These dangerous positions not only put Americans at risk, but can have long term impacts on our country’s growth and productivity. – Crooked Hillary Clinton, Scientific AmericanSeptember, 13, 2016

Crooked Hillary Clinton has evoked the same language used by “journalists”, “scientists” and the government to excuse the ongoing cover-up of vaccine dangers and poisoning of babies and even said she would explicitly work with those implicated in the scandal to help it continue. However, it is hardly surprising coming from a candidate who would lie about anything and who would do it to anyone – from lying that she did not put the country’s security at risk, to lying to relatives of Americans murdered by terrorists, to covering up her husband’s abuse of women, to crookedly managing her family’s fake charity, to making the disgraced ex-DNC chair her “honorary campaign manager” and finally to lying about her own health. Although it was hilarious to watch her fall nearly flat on her face and then get dragged into a van, it goes to show just how far she will go to hide something as fundamental as her own sickness from the American people.

Meanwhile, she touts her sham “autism plan” that cites junked statistics to waste money on a study attempting to disprove the autism epidemic. Her foundation also takes millions in Saudi money despite the fact that that country imprisons autism parents for speaking out against the state’s neglect of children with autism. Worst of all, however, is the fact that she is intent on ensuring that the criminal activity of the federal vaccine program remains hidden from the public. In the same post at the Scientific American where she called Trump’s vaccine position “dangerous” (virtually every major “science” publication is now just a corporate front), she promised she would assist the Department of Health and Human Services in their ongoing lies and even congratulated them for doing such a good job of lying:

“As president, I will work closely with the talented physicians, nurses, and scientists in our US Public Health Service to speak out and educate parents about vaccines, focusing on their extraordinary track record in saving lives and pointing out the dangers of not vaccinating our children. ”

And yet, that will just be one of many scandals to her name. When many of the people close to her who have damaging information about her and her husband somehow wind up dead, it is pretty unsurprising that she will prolong the vaccine cover-up. Just after President Obama said that aren’t reasons to not get vaccinated, she sent out a tweet belittling any skepticism of vaccinations. She ultimately has him to thank for why she was not indicted for her criminal handling of classified material, and she has the pharmaceutical industry to thank for such generous campaign contributions. Crooked Hillary has also taken plenty of money from cell phone company-turned-pharmaceutical client Verizon, which now owns Huffington Post where articles both about vaccine dangers and her failing health have been deleted.

Crooked Hillary Clinton is a criminal, liar and deserves no respect regardless of how the upcoming election goes. Yet the Age of Autism blog which claims to support vaccine safety supports Crooked Hillary and posted a puff piece about the Democratic National Convention: “As a life-long Democrat, I was proud to watch the Democratic National Convention.  Hillary Clinton and its other impressive speakers were eloquent, optimistic and inspiring.” Age of Autism’s editor just recently said: “Just a friendly reminder, dear readers, that all voices are welcome here, including lifelong Democrats and those who think that given the options a vote for Hillary Clinton is a reasonable decision. Yours in choice, Dan.” Age of Autism – sponsored and edited by a man who is a mole for the vaccine lobby – should be shut down after these remarks. So too should groups run by the same people such as Canary Party (Cuckservative Party) and Health Choice.

Until the government does an honest job of regulating vaccines for safety and nothing else, the problem won’t just be mercury in vaccines, or the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine or even multiple vaccines at once – the problem will just be vaccines. Complete opposition to and rejection of vaccines should only continue until such time, which may not be for the foreseeable future. But only a vote for Donald Trump is a reasonable choice for ending this nightmare. Anyone who suggests otherwise is just operating for the iatrogenic vaccine lobby. So to Nico LaHood, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Rob Schneider and any other liberal-leaning person who cares about this issue as it relates to the outcome of this election – get on the Trump Train!

Update: Robert De Niro is also more than welcome to board.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Will Release Book With Original Omitted Autism Chapters

By Jake Crosby

On August 25th, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is finally releasing the paperback edition of his book “Thimerosal: Let the Science Speak” that “includes the original omitted chapters on the autism link.”

Kennedy’s decision to omit chapters was seen by some as running counter to the purpose of his book, namely to “let the science speak” on thimerosal’s harms. So Autism Investigated posted the complete version of his book that was previously obtained and that included the chapters on autism Kennedy had removed. (Those links have now been disabled and replaced with links to the Amazon listing of the paperback edition of his book that will contain the previously omitted autism chapters.)

The removal of chapters from Kennedy’s book was viewed by many as more suppression of evidence for thimerosal’s toxicity. The criticisms only escalated when it was discovered from the metadata of the manuscript file that one of the freelance writers helping Kennedy with his book had previously written in defense of thimerosal.

His decision upset many people, including longtime followers. “This makes me sad,” one advocate said of Kennedy. “He has always been such a proponent”.

Others expressed outrage, “He’s a Coward! Too much pressure from big Pharma” wrote another. “I agree,” someone else concurred, “it’s disgraceful!”

Many felt further betrayed by the fact that Kennedy had promised an audience at an autism conference one year prior that he would release his book if the Department of Health and Human Services did not fully remove thimerosal from all vaccines. Despite thimerosal not being removed, Kennedy released his book, but with chapters on autism excluded.

Prominent allies of Kennedy also denounced him. The most extensive criticism came from the scientist who arguably assisted Kennedy with his book more than anybody else: Dr. Boyd Haley.

But mere weeks after the announcement to remove the chapters from Kennedy’s book, rumors began to circulate that he would re-release his book with all the chapters he had previously taken out. Now a year later, he is finally doing it. This is great news for everyone who wanted him to release his complete book.

Addendum, August 16th, 2015: The scheduled release date has changed since the date of this post.

Mark Blaxill Defended Thimerosal With Fraudulent Danish Research

By Jake Crosby

Recently emerging emails from 2007 show that Canary Party Chairman Mark Blaxill has cited the fraudulent Danish research continuously used by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) to argue for thimerosal‘s safety, even after autism parent and scientist Dr. Brian Hooker explained to him exactly how it is fraudulent: Thorsen and his colleagues buried data showing autism prevalence and incidence were declining after thimerosal’s removal from Danish childhood vaccines. Not only that, but Blaxill even compared Thorsen’s “research” to more recent and similarly flawed data from California to further doubt the significance of thimerosal’s role in causing the autism epidemic. He wrote:

“Brian,

There’s no one more committed to the mercury argument than me. But there’s a hard bit of evidence here regarding the thimerosal argument. The rates in California never went down and as far as I can tell are still going straight up with no deceleration at all. And you’ve seen the Denmark numbers. As I’ve said many times, this can mean only one of three things: the theory is wrong, the numbers are wrong, or the issue is more complex than everyone thought. I vote for number three, but am open to any answer that gets closer to figuring out what happened to [his daughter]. Because something did.

Personally, I have chosen not to enter into the criminal side of this and to try to engage people on the facts and the data rather than the question of justice. That’s not to say I don’t believe there may be criminal behavior in here somewhere and that justice needs to be served; it must be. It’s just that I would degrade my own particular contribution by engaging in that way.”

Years after Mark Blaxill chose “not to enter the criminal side of this,” the principal investigator of such fraudulent research from DenmarkPoul Thorsen – was indicted on fraud charges and was added to the list of DHHS Office of the Inspector General’s list of most-wanted fugitives. In the weeks leading up to the November 2012 congressional hearing, Blaxill persistently tried to play down the significance of Thorsen’s role in the fraudulent research on group email threads for SafeMinds – the group that co-opted the hearing when Blaxill was still chairing the organization’s government affairs committee. He even went so far as to assert that Thorsen probably lied about being principal investigator in email to Dr. Brian Hooker. When confronted with the archived webpages of the website for Thorsen’s now-defunct NANEA website listing him as “Principle Investigator,” Blaxill admitted that he too had access to those very same webpages despite arguing against what they said.

During his 2007 email exchanges with Dr. Hooker, Blaxill was planning to participate in an environmental autism panel held by the IOM where he similarly refused to bring up vaccines: (as with his 2012 speech before Congress nearly six years later). Just three years prior, IOM put out a report rejecting vaccines’ causal role in autism after the institute secretly decided it would never come down that autism is a true side-effect of vaccination prior to reviewing any science. Concerned about Blaxill’s reliance on data that is ecological – inherently incapable of even showing whether children who received more thimerosal had higher rates of autism – Dr. Hooker commented in email to fellow autism advocates (boldface mine):

“Mark Blaxill is NOT a scientist and should not think that he can represent the science around the issue.  I’m frankly sick of him playing “cowboy” scientist acting as if anyone can do what a lot of us trained so long and hard to do. If I see another stupid ecological study or an argument about an ecological study, I’m gonna hurl…  From my email conversations with Mark, it is apparent he is going to conceed [sic] the whole thimerosal argument because the rates in California didn’t go down.  ‘Scuse me but he’s dangerous.

Brian”

The following year, Blaxill practically did just that when he wrote in Age of Autism regarding autism in California:

“The continued increases in autism rates provide strong evidence against the idea that early thimerosal exposure, and only thimerosal exposure, is causing the increased population rates of autism.”

He would also repeat this same statement – in the 2010 book “The Age of Autism” that he coauthored with Dan Olmsted – in a way that eerily echoed the wording of a CDC press release urging patients to receive the thimerosal-laced swine flu shot. I alerted Blaxill and Olmsted to this problem months before their book release, warning them that the California statistics were likely no better than the fraudulent Danish autism statistics, but they included it anyway. This is in spite of the continued exposure of children in California to mercury from flu shots and the fact that autism prevalence was restricted to very young children – most likely driven by downward shifts in age of diagnosis. I had written an article for Age of Autism based on these observations months before. Little did I know at that time that Blaxill had himself compared the California rates to the Danish data in email to Dr. Hooker three years prior – not to point out how the California data is uninformative as I had done, but rather to validate it on the basis of Thorsen’s fraudulent research.

Despite Blaxill’s claim that autism in California was “…still going straight up with no deceleration at all,” changes in the overall autism caseload not limited to a specific age group were decreasing. Then in 2012, Mark Blaxill refused to bring up the first CDC-reported, statewide decline in autism prevalence in children born in 2000 – a possible connection to thimerosal’s removal – when he addressed a press conference held by Canary Party on the newly released statistics. In practice, Mark Blaxill has apparently been exercising the position of IOM – ignoring evidence favorable to thimerosal’s role in causing autism and publicizing evidence which purports to go against it, while never coming to the firm conclusion that autism is a true side-effect of thimerosal. This is in spite of the fact that CDC’s own epidemiologist concluded in email to colleagues that perinatal thimerosal exposure caused autism as written in “Evidence of Harm,” by David Kirby. Yet Blaxill had reportedly convinced Kirby to insist such proof does not exist, only “evidence,” hence the book title.

After Danish research was just recently published showing autism prevalence declining in years corresponding to thimerosal’s removal from vaccines, Age of Autism ran the following action alert: 2003 Danish Study on Mercury Fabricated? New Study Completely Different Results.” What the post did not say was that documents obtained by Dr. Brian Hooker through FOIA have already answered that question affirmatively. Moreover, Age of Autism only drew attention to Mark Blaxill’s public criticism of Thorsen’s work, but not Blaxill’s clandestine endorsement of it while ignoring Dr. Hooker’s email telling him exactly how it was fraudulent. AoA’s action alert also made no mention of the fact that Mark Blaxill’s Canary Party falsely promised Dr. Hooker that it would ask Congress to make the next hearing specifically about research fraud like that committed by Thorsen, but instead asked Congress to make the hearing be about something else.

No matter how much the evidence for the government’s thimerosal cover-up mounts, Mark Blaxill works to prevent that evidence from being exposed in the congressional hearings as much as possible in favor of his rhetorical and eternal question about the autism epidemic: “What’s going on?”
