Autism Investigated Announces 2016 Election Awards

Autism Investigated’s first presidential election was this year, so AI decided to have special awards dedicated to the biggest autism stories of the election cycle.

Scientist of the Election: Dr. Andrew Wakefield6a00d8357f3f2969e201b8d238373d970c

He may have been fighting the good fight for decades, but this year Dr. Andrew Wakefield met with our now-president-elect who stood up for vaccine-injured children in the GOP debate. Dr. Wakefield played a crucial role in informing people that Donald Trump was the only candidate who would tackle the autism epidemic:

For me, this is a one-issue election. That is the future of this country invested in its children, and if we have mandatory vaccination in this country, in this state as they have in California, then it’s all over. And we will achieve that objective by 2032 of 1 in 2 children with autism. There is one person – whatever else you may think about him – who has expressed the fact that he knows that vaccines cause autism, that vaccine damage is real, and this is an issue that will never in his mind lead to mandatory vaccination either statewide or stateswide. Now I had the privilege of meeting him the other day to discuss this precise issue, and he is on our side. Whatever else you may think, I want you to bear that in mind. I’m not going to tell you how to vote; you are free-thinking Americans. But I will say is that we will not get a second chance. Within two years, I would say, of Hillary Clinton getting in – if she gets in – there will be mandatory adult and child vaccination across the entire country.

Autism Investigated reminded readers of what Dr. Wakefield said every time it live-streamed the presidential debates.

Scoop of the Election: Dr. Wakefield completely exonerated.

Autism Investigated was the first to uncover evidence that put the final nail in the coffin of the UK General Medical Council’s findings against Dr. Andrew Wakefield. In the below video at AutismOne’s annual conference, he gives credit where credit is due and promised to give “very, very serious consideration” to pursuing the restoration of his medical license.

In a later interview on Canadian radio, he reiterated Autism Investigated’s reporting that all the findings against him were overturned four years ago and that had he been given the money to appeal, he would still have his license. When questioned by Autism Investigated about why he still didn’t have a medical license despite the overturned findings, the UK’s General Medical Council responded that it would consider “any further supporting evidence” Dr. Wakefield provides should he apply for re-licensure.

Quote of the Election: Donald Trump speaks out on vaccine-autism link.

hero_image_main_2

In the September GOP presidential debate, Trump made the following statement that would lead to Autism Investigated’s formal endorsement of his presidential campaign:

Autism has become an epidemic. Twenty-five years ago, 35 years ago, you look at the statistics, not even close. It has gotten totally out of control.

I am totally in favor of vaccines. But I want smaller doses over a longer period of time. Because you take a baby in — and I’ve seen it — and I’ve seen it, and I had my children taken care of over a long period of time, over a two or three year period of time.

Same exact amount, but you take this little beautiful baby, and you pump — I mean, it looks just like it’s meant for a horse, not for a child, and we’ve had so many instances, people that work for me.

Just the other day, two years old, two and a half years old, a child, a beautiful child went to have the vaccine, and came back, and a week later got a tremendous fever, got very, very sick, now is autistic.

I only say it’s not — I’m in favor of vaccines, do them over a longer period of time, same amount.

But just in — in little sections. I think — and I think you’re going to have — I think you’re going to see a big impact on autism.

Irony of the Election: Barack Obama claims there aren’t reasons to avoid vaccination…except when there are.

nn_01sgu_obama_1309091

In response to NBC’s Today Show co-host Savannah Guthrie, Barack Obama gave the following stance on vaccination (italics mine):

“The science is, you know, pretty indisputable. We’ve looked at this again and again. There is every reason to get vaccinated, but there aren’t reasons to not.”

But then in that same interview, Obama gave as a reason to vaccinate the protection of people who have reasons not to vaccinate (italics mine):

“…the folks who can’t get vaccinated – small infants for example or the people with certain, uh you know, vulnerabilities that, that can’t get vaccinated – they suddenly become much more vulnerable. They’re counting on us to create this protective fence because most people have been vaccinated.”

Good riddance to Obama’s failed presidency.

Dank Meme of the Election: THE DEPLORABLES

The meme was created in response to Hillary Clinton characterizing half of President-Elect Donald Trump’s supporters as a “Basket of Deplorables” and includes President-Elect Trump himself along with Vice President-Elect Mike Pence and some of their most loyal supporters.

trump-clinton-and-the-deplorable-picture-x750

It is also re-posted under Autism Investigated’s livestream of Donald Trump’s second presidential debate with Crooked Hillary.

Event of the Election: Donald Trump is elected president, and deplorables prevail.

If you haven’t yet watched his victory speech, watch it.

President-Elect Trump’s inauguration will be live-streamed at Autism Investigated.

DEPLORABLES PREVAIL!!!

WE DEPLORABLES DID IT! Watch President-Elect Donald Trump’s Victory Speech.

Below is Donald Trump’s statement on the vaccine-autism link at the second GOP Presidential Debate that led to Autism Investigated endorsing him for president earlier this year:

Autism has become an epidemic. Twenty-five years ago, 35 years ago, you look at the statistics, not even close. It has gotten totally out of control.

END THE AUTISM EPIDEMIC! VOTE FOR DONALD TRUMP!

trump_2016_usa_flag_sticker

It’s that time of year – the week before election day. Donald Trump has promised to fix the autism epidemic and has spoken out on the causal connection to vaccines in the second GOP debate. He has also denounced the cover-up of the connection by federal agencies and said he would change vaccination policy as president.

His opponent Hillary Clinton – a criminal liar who should have been indicted and still could be – has called Trump’s remark’s “dangerous” and has promised to collude with her fellow criminals in government to continue hiding the fact that vaccines cause autism. Covering up health crises is nothing new for Crooked Hillary, as she covers up her own personal ones. Don’t think for one second that Crooked Hillary will play fair in the election, just look at who she appointed to an “honorary” role in her campaign.

Tweets, likes and blogs do not determine the next president. Not even dank memes do that. Only voting does.

So however you plan to vote, make sure you vote. If you have an absentee ballet, fill it out and mail it in ASAP. If you want to vote early before Tuesday, there are polling stations you can go to have that done as well. If you decide to vote on election day, be sure to wear red when you head down to the polls. More information on voting can be found at: vote.gop

But wherever you are and whenever you choose to vote, make sure you VOTE FOR DONALD TRUMP to end the autism epidemic and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Crooked Hillary Hijacks Autism to Smear Donald Trump

202d32515bd8a74fd5e305564859e4069627decc

Remember that old lie from last year that Donald Trump mocked a reporter for his disability? Crooked Hillary has now stretched it even further to say that Trump is prejudiced against people with autism, even though the reporter’s disability is totally unrelated to autism.

Her justification? Because Donald Trump’s imitation of the reporter involved movement of the hands, and some people with autism flap their hands. Ergo, people with autism can’t live in “Trump World.”

She even made an entire commercial out of it: sob story and all.

Not surprisingly, her ad does not include any video footage of the New York Times reporter Trump supposedly mocked: Serge Kovaleski. Watch the video below and see how comparable Kovaleski’s demeanor is to Trump’s imitation.

There is no comparison. Donald Trump did not know the reporter was disabled and had not spoken to him in 30 years. Any memory would have been smothered by the countless legions of reporters Trump spoke to since that time. Yet the Clinton Campaign is actually trying to dupe viewers into believing that Trump was not only mocking the reporter for his disability, but people with autism for theirs as well.

Though the campaign ad is hardly a new low for the Clinton Campaign with all its lies, crimes and Trump rally-targeting violence, the chutzpah is notable. Crooked Hillary is using autism to rehash a debunked and unrelated lie against a candidate who has promised to address that disability as the public health problem it poses, while her autism “plan” involves denying it’s a problem by funding an adult prevalence study on the basis of one conducted and then disowned by the British government. And of course, she has attacked his acknowledgment of that fact that vaccines are poisoning babies into autism as being “dangerous”. Of course, she is dangerous in many more ways than just one.

Now she is trying to court votes against her opponent who will do something about the problem of autism from the people who are the victims of it. Her strategy is yet more lies. Don’t let her succeed!

Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson:

It’s the most unbelievable discussion I’ve ever been involved in. If you say anything about vaccines that is slightly like holding back the hate mail, the level of vitriol, it’s incredible when you see it. First of all, I’m a big believer in vaccines. But there could be something to the theory that these massive doses that are given to children have an impact on autism. There could be something to it. Now some people say no, some people say yes, I’d like to see studies. The bottom line is they have to get vaccinated. When I was going to school as a young guy, polio was a really big problem and vaccines knocked it out. So the vaccines are very important, but we have to study the vaccines and we have to be very, very careful with vaccines.

Nico LaHood, Ditch The Dems and Board The Trump Train!

lahood

I’m Nico LaHood. I’m the criminal district attorney in San Antonio, Texas. I’m here to tell you that vaccines can and do cause autism. – Attn. Nico LaHood, Vaxxed Nation, August 26th, 2016

Nico LaHood states vaccines cause autism despite the fact that he is a Democrat, even though Crooked Hillary Clinton asserts that questioning vaccine safety is akin to questioning the color of the sky or the shape of the Earth. Exonerated British doctor and Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe film director Andrew Wakefield predicts there would be mandatory vaccination across the entire country within two years of her election. In stark contrast, the GOP nominee Donald Trump would never allow that to happen while knowing for years that vaccines cause autism – a stance he reiterated in a recent meeting with Dr. Wakefield.

This election is too important to pass up, and the American people have just one chance to get it right. The choice between Donald Trump and Crooked Hillary is the same as the choice between vaccine safety and mandatory vaccination. That is the choice of the American people, and the choice is now. Staying home on election day is not an option, nor is voting for a third-party candidate who would support mandatory vaccinations anyway and doesn’t even stand a chance of winning.

So there is no waiting and no dawdling – all aboard the Trump Train!

Addendum: See full video of Nico LaHood telling his story.

Gary Johnson Supports Mandatory Vaccination

sddefault

I’ve come to find out that without mandatory vaccines, that the vaccines that would in fact be issued would not be effective. – Gary Johnson, Vermont Public Radio, August 24th, 2016

Like Green Party candidate for president Jill Stein, former New Mexico governor and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson has said he supports mandatory vaccination. In an interview with Vermont Public Radio, Johnson said he supports government mandates  of vaccines – a stark reversal from a tweet from five years ago. He went even further to say that if the issue of vaccine mandates became a federal one, he would “side with science” and require vaccination as president.

Ridiculously, some vaccine skeptics actually said they would vote for Johnson over GOP nominee Donald Trump despite the fact that he had spoken out for years about the dangers of vaccines. He reiterated those concerns both in the second GOP presidential debate as well as in an interview just four months ago. Johnson – in stark contrast – only had a tweet to suggest a somewhat reformed position on vaccines, and now he has even reversed himself on that.

Perhaps worst about Johnson’s reversal is the hypocrisy inherent to his libertarian politics. Libertarians pride themselves on protecting individual liberties, yet Johnson has now said he would allow the government to make decisions for its citizens about what can or cannot be put into their bodies. Such a position would at least follow a certain logic within the socialist philosophies of Jill Stein, Bernie Sanders and Crooked Hillary Clinton, but not in the philosophy of a candidate trying to sell himself as the third-party, liberty-loving alternative to the two-party system.

Yet he has heaped praise on the most prominent politicians of the political elite/progressive left while heaping smears on Donald Trump. Earlier this summer, Johnson called Barack Obama a “good guy” and Crooked Hillary a “wonderful public servant.” In contrast, Johnson said he could never support Trump because of “all the things he had said” – presumably including his remarks on vaccination. Johnson’s running mate Bill Weld was even more nauseating, calling Trump a “huckster” while describing a “bond” with Crooked Hillary. And in an apparent effort to pander to Bernie Sanders’ supporters, Johnson said he agreed with 73% of what the socialist senator says. The political divide characteristic of this election cycle is not between two-party and third-party candidates, but between the political establishment and Donald Trump.

If the choice was not clear enough before, it could not be clearer now. Johnson would sell out your rights and require vaccinations while Trump has said he would push for safer vaccinations as president. Apart from the fact that Johnson has no realistic chance of becoming president anyway, the only candidate for whom a vote would truly be a vote for vaccine safety is Republican nominee Donald Trump. A vote cast for a candidate other than Trump is a vote that helps enable a Crooked Hillary win, and that would be the worst possible outcome of all.
