Autism Investigated and a Longtime Reader Challenge Peter Hotez

Not since Autism Investigated’s founding has the editor challenged the vaccine people at their own events. But on March 6, vaccine developer Peter Hotez came to University of North Florida to deny he poisoned his daughter Rachel into autism. He transcribed his denial into a book, titled Vaccines Did Not Cause Rachel’s Autism. Compared to past encounters between 2011-2013, both Hotez and the venue that hosted him were surprisingly friendly. The level of nonsense spewed was about the same, however.

Although the event was an “Autism Symposium,” Hotez spent much of his talk discussing infectious diseases. Among those were the neglected tropical diseases that he spent his career researching. He spent relatively little time discussing his daughter, although he was clear that she was very severely afflicted. He repeated the usual mantra of no link to autism, of course, mentioning the fraudulent retraction of the seminal autism-vaccine study. Hotez went even further to deny there is not even an autism epidemic. “It’s really better diagnosis.” The one good thing about his talk was when he plugged and read from Autism Investigated’s meme about him.

Autism Investigated attended the event with Maurine Meleck, a longtime reader, advocate, author and grandmother of two men diagnosed with autism. One of them is recovered, but the other is still disabled and she cares for him. Unexpectedly, she was the first to ask a question. When she brought up the recovery of one of her grandsons and the improvement of the other, Hotez completely denied recovery was even possible for autism. “You don’t recover from autism,” he said.

She continued, “Schools are exploding with children in special education, many of whom have autism. How could you deny there’s an epidemic?”

“I didn’t say there’s no epidemic,” he said.

“You did!”

Hotez doubled down on his denial, stating that by “better diagnosis” he meant better diagnosis of girls with autism. “The key take away from my talk is that whatever causes autism, vaccines are not to blame!”

A few more people asked questions after that. One was a woman who admitted she delayed the MMR vaccine for her child. Hotez didn’t approve, “I wouldn’t do that!”

Another questioner said she felt there was a real autism epidemic. Then the mic finally was passed to Autism Investigated.

Hotez was then asked about the seminal 1998 autism-vaccine study coauthors’ fraudulent retraction of the interpretation. Hotez didn’t even know about the coauthors’ retraction, “I think it was an expression of concern.” He was corrected, having been told how the coauthors’ retraction had nothing to do with the accuracy of the conclusion but was really a statement in favor of vaccines, making it a fraudulent retraction. Hotez mentioned that the lead author Andrew Wakefield lost his medical license. When Autism Investigated informed him that it was because he didn’t cosign the fraudulent retraction, Hotez deferred to talk afterwards.

After the event ended, the editor and Maurine Meleck both introduced themselves. Meleck gave Hotez a copy of her book Rooting Out Bedhead: Autism and Other Brushes with Chaos. Upon the introduction of Autism Investigated’s editor, Hotez nervously laughed, “Oh, so you’re Jake Crosby! You write such mean things about me!”

Giving Autism Investigated his business card, Hotez said, “I have to run to the airport, but would love to talk more!”

He did compliment Autism Investigated’s post on JB Handley, ironically, saying, “You’re one of the nice ones.” Of course, that’s comparing the editor to someone who’s not nice to other vaccine skeptics simply because they don’t think he’s the smartest man in the room.

The event was ultimately one giant paradox. It was an event that was strangely out of sync with other events where the response by other pro-vaccine speakers like Paul Offit were overtly hostile. Yet the event was ultimately the same in its pushing of nonsense to promote toxic vaccinations. Hotez will never stop being in denial of his daughter’s autism, for it would mean that vaccines were involved.

Rachel Hotez is Just The Latest Autistic Victim of Glaxploitation Courtesy of Her Daddy GlaxoSmithKline

Unlike with the children in the 1998 autism-vaccine paper, GlaxoSmithKline doesn’t need to steal Rachel Hotez’s medical records. GSK already has them, because GSK is literally her daddy. Glaxploitation is easiest with a child of GlaxoSmithKline.

Peter Hotez was a total nobody before he was elevated to science chair of the GSK front group Sabin Vaccine Institute. He got that position in 1998. One can only imagine why…

In 2002, Hotez joined GSK’s policy advisory board on vaccines. That was the same year he orchestrated a petition against “misinformation” about vaccination, while his organization honored GSK’s first CEO. Hotez organized a GSK-funded meeting on bioterrorism that included vaccine industry talking head Paul Offit and pervert Thomas Frieden.

Also honored by Hotez’s front group that year was Stanley “Vaccine Soros” Plotkin. He is inventor of the rubella vaccine in the autism-causing measles-mumps-rubella vaccine.

Hotez remained with Sabin Vaccine Institute until he stepped down as president just last year. Conveniently, that was when he announced he would be writing the book Vaccines Did Not Cause Rachel’s Autism. Authoring the book’s forward is Arthur Caplan, three-year bio”ethics” advisory committee chair at GlaxoSmithKline. Rachel Hotez is totally Glaxploited.

You know who the biggest target of Glaxploitation is though? Hannah Poling. GlaxoSmithKline wants her medical records like a mosquito wants blood. GSK also has much of the autism community unwittingly helping.

Pediatricians Pushing Toxic Vaccinations Hypocritically Demand Open Borders to Prevent “Child Abuse”

Dr. Colleen Kraft, President of the American Academy of Pediatrics

It’s official – pediatricians are the dumbest profession on earth! The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) led the medical community’s opposition to a vaccine safety commission under President Trump. Now AAP is leading opposition to curbing illegal immigration. AAP calls separating illegal immigrant children from illegal immigrant parents “child abuse.” Pediatricians don’t even want families of illegal immigrant children to be detained! That’ll encourage child trafficking!

Never mind that AAP members poison children everyday with toxic vaccinations and lie about it. They say research on adverse vaccine outcomes should be censored to protect public health. Like vaccination, mass illegal immigration also threatens public health. Yet the medical and public health community promotes both!

FDA Commissioner Cites Measles Importation Advocate Peter Hotez

Farmer Scott

SKINNY JEANS: Dr. Scott Gottlieb visiting farms and dressing the part. Twitter of FDA Commissioner

The FDA commissioner who told Congress that Danish fugitive Poul Thorsen definitively debunked the vaccine-autism link is at it again. Scott Gottlieb is now citing the work of measles importation advocate Peter Hotez.

We are already at a dangerous tipping point, thanks to toxic vaccinations. Gottlieb cited propaganda of vaccine developer Peter Hotez, who has encouraged the importation of measles by opposing President Trump’s immigration policies. Hotez called vaccine skeptics and anti-vaccinationists a “hate group” and has written in favor of compulsory vaccination. He is in denial of his daughter’s vaccine injury.

Even Scott Gottlieb knows immigration can spread disease. Here is what Gottlieb wrote in 2008 (despite wrongly saying mercury is in the MMR vaccine):

…measles can still be imported from countries where its incidence is widespread. (The Brooklyn strain was probably introduced by immigrants.)

Gottlieb cites a man who wants to eliminate American borders to spread measles and scare people into poisoning their kids. Meanwhile, look who Gottlieb is seated next to: the former Maryland Secretary of Health who led attacks against vaccine scientists. Gottlieb said he “made transparency a priority at #FDA under his leadership.”

Read that again:

We’re fully committed to continuing to embrace and promote transparency at #FDA.

No, you’re not.

After Terrorist Threat, “Vaccine Diplomat” Peter Hotez Incites More Hatred

Hotez Bill

Peter Hotez hates our right to reject vaccinations. Hotez called Americans who do a “hate group” one month after a terrorist threat to mass murder vaccine skeptics. He is in denial of his daughter’s vaccine injury, and thinks he’s above those he represents in a foreign land.

David Gorski of all bloggers helped further prove that Hotez is no diplomat. Just recently, Autism Investigated renewed its call for the State Secretary to fire Hotez from his diplomatic position in Israel for calling vaccine skeptics and anti-vaccinationists a “hate group.” Meanwhile, Gorski couldn’t keep his mouth shut. So he reacted with the below tweet.

Peter Hotez likes Gorski’s tweet.

Peter Hotez proves he doesn’t take his job seriously. He has no respect for the State Department. “Vaccine Diplomacy” as he calls it is an oxymoron. The man thinks many of his own constituents are a “hate group.” Hotez feels the same way about vaccine skeptics in Israel too.

He even wants thugs to “fight” for him. It doesn’t matter to him that there was a recent death threat against vaccine skeptics, including one doctor in particular. After all, Hotez incites such hatred.

Peter Hotez and David Gorski like this tweet too.

Peter Hotez is the wrong person to represent American interests. Yet he does so in a part of the world marred by so much conflict. He’s using the North Korea summit to push vaccine “diplomacy.” That should scare everyone.

Tell Secretary Pompeo to Oust Peter Hotez from Israel for “Hate Group” Lie

State Secretary Mike Pompeo, Israel National News

Mike Pompeo was sworn in as the 70th US Secretary of State last month. The US embassy in Israel was relocated to Jerusalem three weeks ago. The US-Israel Binational Science Foundation published a puff piece about board member Peter Hotez in its newsletter two weeks ago. In light of these developments, Autism Investigated renews its call for the State Department to oust him from the foundation’s board. Contact Secretary Pompeo and demand Hotez’s firing!

Honorable Secretary Mike Pompeo,

I am writing to ask that you remove Dr. Peter Hotez from the US Israel Binational Science Foundation. I have previously written the department under your predecessor Secretary Tillerson, but no one has addressed the substance of my complaint.

Peter Hotez has proven himself unfit to represent our country in any diplomatic capacity. At an academic keynote lecture he delivered in February, Dr. Hotez called organizations like Texans for Vaccine Choice and the National Vaccine Information Center “a hate group” and said “They are a hate group that hates [our] family and hates [our] children.”(1)

Whatever your opinion is of these specific groups, they are not hate groups. They seek to raise awareness for issues concerning vaccine safety and the right to opt out of school vaccine mandates for children.

Dr. Hotez is also extremely hypocritical to judge the intent of such groups when he is a member of the National Academy of Medicine (formerly the Institute of Medicine). The IoM produced reports proclaiming vaccination safe that purported to be scientific. In reality, IoM report authors had already decided in secret meetings to produce that conclusion at the behest of their federal sponsors before looking at any scientific evidence.(2)

Regardless of one’s position on vaccine safety, however, Dr. Hotez disqualifies himself from being worthy of such a position of international diplomacy. His zealotry, disregard of other viewpoints and contempt for people who do not share his ideological commitment to vaccination is a disgrace to our wonderful country and everything that we stand for. His representation contradicts President Trump’s commitment to work on vaccine safety with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and is counter-intuitive to the historic relocation of our embassy to Jerusalem. We should not have Peter Hotez representing US interests to any foreign partner here or abroad.

Sincerely,

Jake Crosby, MPH

Pro-Vax Globalists Call Forced Child-Poisoning a “Right”

Arthur Caplan and Peter Hotez, Seattle Times

The vaccine state and its supportive globalists are coming for your kids, to poison them into oblivion and then deny vaccines hurt them for eternity. The vaccine statists are coming for everyone next.

Here you have vaccine developer Peter Hotez and pharma-funded “ethicist” Arthur Caplan saying children have a “right” (i.e. should be forced) to get vaccinated. They invoke infectious disease, but really it’s all about protecting their vaccine program that they’ve staked their professional reputations on.

Proving it has nothing to do with infectious disease, they use the measles outbreak among Somalis in Minnesota to justify compulsory vaccination. Never mind that the president tried to put a ban on travel from Somalia to our country before the outbreak, and both “experts” opposed it. Caplan even explicitly opposed it to prevent the spread of diseases like measles!

The health care and scientific community had better be ready to spread the facts when the next infectious disease appears and President Trump invokes microbes to close the borders. – Art Caplan

Scientific communities across the world need collaborators in these [banned] countries who can combat epidemics before they arrive in the US. Peter Hotez

They want measles to be spread, which is why they want migrants to spread it to the US. They want to justify ending vaccine exemptions and skepticism, as Hotez said himself:

“The only thing that’s going to stop this runaway train right now is a large measles outbreak.”

The bottom line is that Hotez and Caplan are just trying to cover up that vaccines cause autism, especially in Hotez’s daughter.

Rick Perry – Shadow Secretary of Health and Human Services

Secretary of Energy Rick Perry salutes with officers of the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps at the swearing-in of Admiral Brett Giroir, Dept of HHS

While the president’s hands are tied by the CDC vaccine chief’s brother, who is behind HHS appointments? A big clue came in the form of Brett Giroir’s appointment to Assistant Secretary for Health. As CEO of the Texas A&M Health Science Center, Giroir was appointed Director of the Texas Task Force on Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response by then-Governor Perry. Guess who served on Giroir’s commission?

There he is!

Peter Hotez.

Hotez is the vaccine developer who has called Texans for Vaccine Choice “a hate group.” He is also coming out with a book denying his daughter’s vaccine injury. At the pediatricians’ annual legislative conference, he was praised by Giroir who said  “there are no [vaccine] safety issues, especially not autism.”

Governor Rick Perry has given that same opinion all the way back in 2011:

You heard the same arguments about giving our children protections from some of the childhood diseases, and they were.. autism was part of that. Now we’ve subsequently found out that was generated and not true.

That was all the way back when he was defending his decision to mandate the HPV vaccine Gardasil for Texas schoolgirls. That decision may very well explain the positions of other top officials at HHS. The Deputy FDA Commissioner during Gardasil’s FDA approval and the Deputy HHS Secretary who announced it are now the FDA Commissioner and the HHS Secretary.

ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR HEALTH ON VAX: “There are no safety issues.”

At the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) legislative conference, Assistant Secretary for Health and National Vaccine Program Director Brett Giroir said “there are no safety issues” with vaccines. He also told the academy of doctors who openly support the censorship of vaccine risks, “You have an ally in myself and everyone in the administration [on vaccines].”

Thanks to Dr. Sean Gallagher, @TheKidKidDoc, for informing Autism Investigated of this.

(To be fair, the president has said he supports vaccines while raising awareness about their dangers.)

Seems Giroir has a cozy relationship with the pharmaceutical industry, going back to when he headed the Texas A&M Health Science Center.

Including when it comes to vaccines.

He was run out of his post after 18 months, for his ties to industry.

Guess who Giroir also praised? None other than Peter “[you] are a hate group” Hotez:

The Department of Heath and Human Services runs the National Vaccine Program. The department denies any safety problems with vaccines. The department, therefore, cannot be trusted when it comes to vaccines. That’s why we need an independent vaccine safety commission!

And what exactly did Admiral Giroir mean by the AAP having an ally in the entire administration? Even cabinet members who have nothing to do with vaccines? The transportation secretary? The labor secretary? Or…

What the now-Secretary of Energy has to do with vaccines…

Stay tuned.
