Glaxo-Funded Vaccine Defender in BMJ Helped Spark Opioid Epidemic

The first major academic research to dispute a vaccine-autism link in the US was conducted by the same doctor whose 40-year-old letter is blamed for contributing to the opioid epidemic. Hershel Jick is the former director of the Boston Collaborative Drug Surveillance Program at Boston University, heavily funded by the pharmaceutical industry including GlaxoSmithKline. He was senior author of a 2001 study in BMJ that disputed a connection between the MMR vaccine and autism. The journal’s editor Fiona Godlee even cited the study in a presentation at the NIH 10 years later. She was speechless when Autism Investigated’s future editor confronted her about the paper’s failures.

Similarly in 1980, Jick authored a letter in New England Journal of Medicine denying the addictiveness of opioids. Since then, it’s been cited nearly 400 times. Over the following decades, the number of opioid prescriptions dramatically increased. Now the number of overdose deaths have spiked. Jick now regrets the letter:

“The letter wasn’t of value to health and medicine in and of itself. So if I could take it back — if I knew then what I know now, I would never have published it. It wasn’t worth it.”

Will he regret publishing his study defending the MMR vaccine?

Gardasil doing its thing……Abortion Rates Fall To Lowest Level Since Procedure Was Legalized In 1973 …..The Crime of all centuries

A new study released on Wednesday by the Guttmacher institute shows that abortion rates have fallen to their lowest level since the procedure was legalized in 1973, according to the BBC.

The study shows that abortion rates declined 7% from 2014 to 2017 and that, in 2017, 862,320 abortions were performed. This is lower than 2011 by about 200,000 abortions and down from a high of 1.6 million in 1990.

The institute says that the lower number isn’t necessarily a result of new laws or conservative politicians trying to restrict access. Rather, it offers several different theories as to why the rate could be plummeting.

First, it suggests that better reproductive healthcare could be part of the reason. The authors of the report found that better access to contraception and improvement in female contraception, like IUDs and implants, may have contributed to the decline. These forms of contraception are now covered by insurance companies due to the 2009 Affordable Care Act.

Adolescent Premature Ovarian Insufficiency Following Human Papillomavirus Vaccination: A Case Series Seen in General Practice.

    Little DT1, Ward HR2.

    Author information

1Bellingen District Hospital, Bellingen, New South Wales, Australia.2University of New South Wales, Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia.

Three young women who developed premature ovarian insufficiency following quadrivalent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination presented to a general practitioner in rural New South Wales, Australia. The unrelated girls were aged 16, 16, and 18 years at diagnosis. Each had received HPV vaccinations prior to the onset of ovarian decline. Vaccinations had been administered in different regions of the state of New South Wales and the 3 girls lived in different towns in that state. Each had been prescribed the oral contraceptive pill to treat menstrual cycle abnormalities prior to investigation and diagnosis. Vaccine research does not present an ovary histology report of tested rats but does present a testicular histology report. Enduring ovarian capacity and duration of function following vaccination is unresearched in preclinical studies, clinical and postlicensure studies. Postmarketing surveillance does not accurately represent diagnoses in adverse event notifications and can neither represent unnotified cases nor compare incident statistics with vaccine course administration rates. The potential significance of a case series of adolescents with idiopathic premature ovarian insufficiency following HPV vaccination presenting to a general practice warrants further research. Preservation of reproductive health is a primary concern in the recipient target group. Since this group includes all prepubertal and pubertal young women, demonstration of ongoing, uncompromised safety for the ovary is urgently required. This matter needs to be resolved for the purposes of population health and public vaccine confidence.

Families 4 Vaccine Choice illustrated the various DNA in our modern vaccines, and each of them can be discovered, along with the vaccines they are put into at the CDC website.

  5. Jake this article to add to the indictment. Its worth reading the whole article
How one sentence helped set off the opioid crisis [and the scientific term “believed”.

OxyContin went to market in 1996 with a campaign by Purdue Pharma that suggested a less abusable drug, one that doctors could prescribe for moderate pain, in addition to severe pain.
At the center of the company’s marketing aimed at physicians was a single sentence in OxyContin’s original label:
“Delayed absorption as provided by OxyContin tablets, is BELIEVED to reduce the abuse liability of a drug.”
“There is nothing fought over, struggled over, agreed on — eventually. Or in a sense, disagreed on, as much as the package insert,” said former FDA medical officer Dan Spyker.
Spyker helped write package inserts for drugs and medical devices in the 1990s. He did not work on OxyContin while at the FDA, but he did go on to work for Purdue after he left the agency.
The other marketing mantra was in the rest of the sentence: “is believed to reduce the abuse liability of a drug.”
“There’s a caveat here, the sentence says it’s ‘believed’ to reduce the abuse liability of a drug,” said Dr. Caleb Alexander, an associate professor of epidemiology and medicine at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the chairman of an FDA advisory committee on drug safety for neurologic diseases. “They’re not stating that it does reduce the abuse liability of a drug. This is a slippery slope.”
The sentence should never have been allowed in the label because there are were no clinical studies to back it up, Alexander said.
“Not without data,” he said. “I mean, show me the data. Show me the studies. Show me the abuse liability studies.”
So where did that sentence come from? How did it wind up in an FDA-approved label?
When contacted by Marketplace, the FDA would not comment specifically about its relationship with Purdue during that time period.

According to Purdue, the sentence came from the FDA.

“The ‘delayed absorption’ sentence was added to the label at FDA’s suggestion, not Purdue Pharma’s, and FDA did not require Purdue to do any clinical studies to back up the delayed absorption statement,” Purdue Spokesman Robert Josephson said in a written statement to Marketplace. (You can read Purdue’s full response here.)

But the court documents obtained by Marketplace portray a more complicated story.

For the last 13 years, some of these documents were in an envelope marked “sealed” in a West Virginia county courthouse. Marketplace received permission from a judge to review the documents from a lawsuit the state attorney general brought against Purdue Pharma in 2001 alleging misleading marketing tactics in West Virginia. It was settled in 2004 for just $10 million and many of the documents were sealed.

  6. Terry Gross, “Fresh Air” interviewed Dr. Dr. Anna Lembke on the American opioid addiction who authored–“Drug Dealer, MD: How Doctors Were Duped, Patients Got Hooked, And Why It’s So Hard To Stop.” This comment by Lemke caught my attention:

LEMBKE: Starting in the 1980s, doctors started to be told that opioids were effective treatment for chronic pain and that treating patients long term with opioids was evidence-based medicine. That was patently false, and that was propagated by what I call big medicine in cahoots with big pharma.

My gut feel is they aren’t going to try mandatory vaccination in the UK now.
    My thinking goes like this.
They don’t want to risk widespread protests which is a certainty should they it, they know how much WE know about their nefariousness, and how quickly we are learning.
They don’t want any more contagion, the protests are all around the world now.
As it is right now, in the UK , the Gardasil vax is capturing 83% of the teenage girls.
The highest rate I know of in the world right now. US 43%
And they know this vax is sterilizing at a very high rate. (Stanley all but admitted it.)
Protests would risk that all becoming questioned and they definitely dont want that.
83% is a dream come true for the planned “culling” of the herd.

I think increasingly they will show their hand which is that the Gardasil vaccine is the mainstay of the program. And this will be the vaccine they will most want to make mandatory above all others because it achieves their ultimate aim- depopulation.

Study Shows Massive IQ Decrease in Males with Fluoride: JAMA Pediatrics Journal Editors Stunned
    September 25th, 2019

    Via: James Lyons-Weiler:

In reference to a study, entitled “Association Between Maternal Fluoride Exposure During Pregnancy and IQ Scores in Offsprings in Canada”[1], published in JAMA Pediatrics, the journal editors were stunned by a finding that fluoridated water exposure in mothers during pregnancy reduces the IQ of their sons.

The study found that in boys, a 1 mg/L increase in the maternal urine fluoride concentration led to a 5-point decrease in boys’ IQs.

Dimitri Christakis and Frederick Rivara of JAMA Pediatrics, in a podcast, compare the findings as overturning decades-old presumptions of safety of fluoridated water.

Christakis: “Before they were anti vaxxers, there were sort of anti fluoriders. Right. And like the traditional teaching, when I was going through residency and early in my early professional career was that there was fluoride is completely safe. All these people that are trying to take it out of the water are nuts. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened for children’s dental health. And we just need to push back and get it into every water system.”

Christakis: “In fact, before there were anti-vaxxers, there were, sort-of, anti-fluoriders, and the traditional teaching when I was going through residency was that fluoride was completely safe, all these people that are trying to take it out of the water are nuts, it’s the best thing that ever happened…”

Christakis: “So when I first saw this title, my initial reaction was ‘What the hell?’”

  12. The greatest way to influence people is through fear (this is what my advertising class
taught me). When people are afraid they will believe anything.
Once they believe the lie, they virtually close their mind to the truth.
The vaxxine promoters avoid the multiple reasons not to get vaccines, and any
rational discussion of the subject. That is what all of the censorship is about.
Allow people only one side of the story so they do not think about their decision.
If they knew the truth they would be informed and say ‘no’.

The results that we obtained in this first part of sequencing of the complete MRC-5 genome present in the vaccine (the second part is the
sequencing of the entire genome of the MRC-5 cell line used to cultivate the vaccine virus and the comparative analysis with the Fetal DNA
vaccine) considerably strengthen the experimental observations of Dr. Deisher and above all the fact that the contaminating fetal DNA present
in all the samples analyzed in variable quantities (therefore not controlled) is up to 300 times higher than the limit imposed by the EMA for the
carcinogenic DNA (10 ng / dose, corresponding to the DNA contained in about 1000 tumor cells, obtained on the basis of a statistical
calculation, while the precautionary limit is 100 pg / dose) limit that must necessarily be applied also to the fetal DNA that inevitably
    contaminates the Priorix ® tetra.

As a consequence, this vaccine should be considered defective and potentially dangerous for human health, in particular of the pediatric
population, who is much more vulnerable to genetic and autoimmune damage due to immaturity in their repair systems.

    Vaccine Event
“We said both sides must be heard—we haven’t taken a position yet,” the Reverend Al Sharpton said. The event was slated to occur this weekend in Harlem.

An event hosted by Reverend Al Sharpton’s civil rights organization and poised to raise dangerous anti-vaccine viewpoints in Harlem this weekend was cancelled by the group on Tuesday, after physicians and public health officials argued that the event was harmful and targeted the African-American community.

“We said both sides must be heard — we haven’t taken a position yet,” Reverend Al Sharpton said, asked about the National Action Network’s decision to host the event in the first place. Sharpton clarified that he was not hosting the event, and was not even sure whether he’d attend.
The free event, which was planned to be hosted by NAN’s chapter in Harlem, was slated to come just one month after New York City declared an end to its largest measles outbreak in nearly 30 years. The outbreak, largely attributed to vaccine misinformation and a dip in immunization rates in the orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn, infected 654 people and cost the city over $6 million, spurring a repeal of religious exemptions to vaccines in the state.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the notorious anti-vaccine proponent leading the effort to sue the state over the repeal of that law, was one of the speakers slated to attend the event. The event was set to be hosted by Curtis Cost, President of the National Action Network’s Scholars Committee, who in 1998 hosted another event in Harlem sponsored by Sharpton and NAN providing a “both sides” approach calling into question whether AIDS was caused by HIV.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has said that, “Claims that vaccines are linked to autism, or are unsafe when administered according to the recommended schedule, have been disproven by a robust body of medical literature.”

Other public health experts criticized the move to host the event in Harlem, a New York City neighborhood with a large black community.

“In 2019 the antivaccine ringleaders targeted the Orthodox Jewish community to flood them with a phony pamphlet, hold teleconferences, robocalls, and town hall meetings with fake information about vaccines,” Peter Hotez, president of the Sabin Vaccine Institute and professor of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, told BuzzFeed News by email. “Now they have their sights set on Harlem to ignite an even bigger measles epidemic on the African American community there. Why Rev Sharpton would attack his own community in this way defies common sense or explanation.”
