Paul Offit Takes Anti-Vax Advice: Stops Lying About Credentials

It’s been nearly a year since Autism Investigated revealed that Paul Offit lied about being Chief of Infectious Diseases at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He had already been lying for three years. He still had not scrubbed it from his website, until now. The change came right before two fakestream media sites began promoting his latest book, “Bad Advice.”

Last week, Autism Investigated first pointed out the lie to one of his supporters. He then contacted Paul Offit, who finally removed it.

Offit uploaded a new resume directly from his hospital computer dated July 25. The date came before he began aggressively pushing his book on the Washington Post and Salon.com websites. The message of Offit’s book couldn’t be clearer: don’t take advice from celebrities or activists, listen to me!

Except Offit did listen to anti-vaccine advice by no longer lying about his credentials on Paul-offit.com. Surely it wouldn’t look good to flaunt your fake credentials while using them to position yourself as an authority on vaccines and whose critics should be dismissed.

Nonetheless, Paul Offit could never change that he did exactly what his latest book urges people not to do. He took advice from an anti-vaccine activist.

Offit’s credential embellishment is not his first lie, far from. It is, however, his first lie he was forced to publicly correct by a critic he has blocked on Facebook and Twitter and expelled from his talks.

He did take advice from you, but not on the topic of vaccines.

This lawmaker blocked anti-vaccine activists on Twitter. Now he’s facing a lawsuit
    July 30, 2018 06:42 PM

State Sen. Richard Pan, D-Sacramento, is being sued by anti-vaccine activists, who say he blocked them on Twitter in violation of their First Amendment rights.
The lawsuit argues Pan’s Twitter account is a modern public forum because he is a government official.
The suit, which was filed in federal court in Sacramento on July 27, alleges Pan blocks people with dissenting perspectives “based solely on his unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination.”
Suzanne Rummel and Marlene Burkitt, who could not be immediately reached for comment, are the two anti-vaccine activists who filed suit.

Jake, you continue to lie. As I pointed out numerous times, Offit’s CV clearly states that he was Director of Division of Infectious Diseases from 1992 – 2014 and on CHOPS Vaccine Education Website he is only listed as their Director. The fact that he forgot to change one resume is NOT evidence he lied, just an oversight in a very busy schedule. You really are despicable. If he were lying, why would the CV which is what most people would check, correct? One can find it by Googling “Paul Offit CV”. And he didn’t take your advice, which is worthless. To the best of my knowledge Offit doesn’t read your blog. Why would he? You really suffer from Delusions of Grandeur.

I imagine if you got hold of a draft of some paper I wrote years ago, complete with typos that were corrected in the final version, you would post the draft and claim that it is proof of my incompetence. As I said, you are truly one despicable individual suffering from Delusions of Grandeur.

And if you look at Offit’s CV, he is one of the most accomplished individuals around. He treats children with infectious diseases, he supervises interns and residents, he writes grants that are awarded, he publishes peer-reviewed medical journal articles, and he writes books. And what do you do? Maybe you wrote an MPH thesis; but give every excuse not to even give its title. Despite your excuses, the only logical conclusion is that, if you even wrote one, you are ashamed of it, it got a minimum passing grade. And what else have you accomplished in your lifetime? Anyone can write on their own blog.

And many positions allow someone to retain their title even after leaving. For instance, ex-Presidents are usually addressed as Mr. President. Retired Generals and Admirals are still addressed as such. Even if he had not corrected it in his CV, which he did, the more important document, given one oversight in an extremely impressive CV, especially given that 12 years as Chair of a Medical School Department is a major accomplishment alone, so what? Your need to call people liars reflects more on you than on them.

For one who continuously lies, attacking someone else’s integrity is the pot calling the kettle black. I doubt if you even understand what integrity is. As I wrote, what have you ever done during your life, except post on your own blog? I wonder how many kids Dr. Offit has saved treating their infections. And it is your belief/opinion that vaccines don’t work and confer more risk than benefit. And, in a previous post, you listed just about every organization, except many churches and PTAs, as part of the world-wide conspiracy. Yep, the vast majority of professionals and lay organizations around the world are all liars, all acting in concert so the pharmaceutical industry can profit selling vaccines. Wow! Must be nice to believe you are one of the chosen few to see the truth, especially given your expertise in epidemiology based on an MPH, at best an introductory low level degree, and an MPH thesis that you are so proud of you won’t even give its title.

By the way, I’m an old man; but if I can manage it, before I pass on, I am shooting for 100 times donating blood. What I consider my civic duty to help my fellow man. How many times have you donated blood?

And another thing, you write: “We get it.” Really? Are you speaking as royalty who use “we,” given your delusions of grandeur, wouldn’t surprise me, or, do you think you represent a large number of people, though no evidence they have conveyed to you anything. Perhaps, along with your delusions of grandeur, you believe you are telephathic and just know what others are thinking.

This is almost fun. Reminds me when I was young and did an internship at a psychiatric clinic. I would have loved to have you as a patient.

    • Pretty sure nobody else on any Autism Investigated thread you’ve commented on agrees with you that Paul Offit’s integrity doesn’t matter:

“in your mind leaving Chief on the website was intentional; but even if that were true, so what, his other credentials are impressive”

That’s not delusions of grandeur, but common sense.

It’s not worth submitting additional comments as you cut and paste what I write, only post some of my comments, ignore most of what I write, and continue to show your absolute dishonesty. I guess a nobody, flunky like you can only succeed in your own mind on a blog you control. I didn’t say “it was true, just said “if it were true”; but you automatically believe it true, so you attack Offit’s integrity. Please explain why his CV which is easily accessible on the internet is absolutely correct; but a resume that few would find, given that CVs and resumes are usually in the ABOUT section of a blog, would intentionally be wrong? Only in your warped mind!!!

My next article for Science-Based Medicine is almost ready, probably get it posted middle of August. Feel free to make a fool of yourself and submit some comments. However, I doubt you would read the entire article, require too much effort on your part, and, if you should read it, I really doubt you would understand it. So far it has 115 references. I like to be thorough. I wonder how many references your alleged MPH thesis had? I’m sure in your mind it’s a “rant,” that is, a scholarly logical scientific work that you can’t refute and couldn’t do anything similar if you tried.

And I’ve already started working on another article, which will involve reading probably a couple of thousand pages of documents.

    • For someone who repeats himself as much as you do, you sure have a hard time owning up to your own words. I also re-approved your comment asking me if I donated blood. Too funny to keep that down!

And please keep writing for SBM. You fit in perfectly there.

Paul “10,000” Offit has zero integrity !

    http://www.dcclothesline.com/2018/08/01/the-9-most-shocking-vaccine-ingredients-of-2018/

Top 9 vaccine ingredients you would never eat if found in food, so why allow them to be injected into muscle tissue?

#1. Infected African Green Monkey Kidney Vero Cells (sv40 carcinogen 120m americans to start with)

#2. Deadly Porcine (Pig) Virus called Circovirus (in highly experimental Rotavirus jab – Offit ?)

#3. Fetal Cells from Human Abortions (the DNA\RNA fragments readily recombine with a babies stem cells)

#4. Peanut Oil (the main cause of childhood severe peanut allergies)

#5. Latex (some syringes are poked through latex vial stoppers, hence severe childhood latex allergies)

#6. FD&C Yellow #6 aluminum lake dye (why do we need vaccines to be colorful?)

#7. Squalene (main cause of auto-immune disorder) Gulf War Syndrome MF59 Gary Matsumoto

#8. Over 50 Parts Per Million of Mercury (still found in certain flu shots)

#9. Genetically Modified DNA from other Humans (foreign proteins cause unnatural immune reactions)

Sounds like some crazy witch’s brew for turning people into mice, doesn’t it? The theory of working vaccines is that you give a human a tiny weakened strain of an infectious disease, their body builds antibodies to fight it, and the next time the same disease is encountered “in the wild,” that human’s immune system is ready to fight, and better prepared. Sounds great. So why then does “modern science” infuse known neurotoxins into vaccines that cause severe allergic reactions, anaphylactic shock, autism, comas and even death?

Vaccines are so criminal on just so many levels (Paul Offit knows this but LIES continually):

    1. Retroviruses XMRV
    3. Mycoplasmas Aids ? Gardasil ? mass Sterilisation ?
    6. The Gatti contaminants (all sorts of contaminants)
    7. Polysorbate80 opens that BBB and lets the poison right in
    8. Formaldehyde leukemia with the FDA right now

As I recall, in “Pandora’s Lab” Offit seems to seriously credit the notion that e-cigarettes are mostly consumed by adults who are trying to quit smoking. Try asking a high schooler. My daughter can barely breathe the air in her school bathroom.

Offit also thinks that Rachel Carson is a bad guy.

But of course when I say “Offit” I’m talking about the person who really wrote the book.
